Days 1-2: Madrid
Arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas airport. Over 2 days enjoy the key sites of Madrid, Spain’s capital city: the Royal Palace, the Prado Museum, Gran Vía, the Temple of Debod, Puerta del Sol, the Hammam Al Ándalus Arab baths, the Arab Wall, the Watchtower of Torrelodones and shopping on the Golden Mile. You'll love Madrid's style. Packed with people, monuments and history, restaurants, bars and shopping, you will be at a loss for words. And don’t forget your camera, you'll want it in neighbourhoods like the Austrias and Las Letras. Also, in the beautiful Retiro Park which, together with the Paseo del Prado, form the so-called "Landscape of Light", declared a World Heritage Site in 2021. If you’re travelling with children, you can also visit the Warner Park, the Faunia Park, the Zoo Aquarium and the Puppet Theatre in El Retiro Park. You'll spend two nights in Madrid.

Day 3 - Full day trip to Segovia
Take the high-speed train from Madrid-Chamartín station to the World Heritage City of Segovia (about half an hour away). Explore this medieval city. Don't forget to visit the Alcazar, which, with more than 2,000 years of history, has been a Roman fortress but also a Hispano-Muslim fortress. You cannot miss a visit to the Roman Aqueduct, one of the most impressive engineering works of the Roman Empire. You can also stroll through its medieval streets and buy local souvenirs to take back home.

Day 4 - Day trip to Toledo or Cuenca
Toledo: Take the high-speed train to Toledo in about 40 minutes. The famous 'City of Three Cultures' is an unmissable day trip from Madrid. Toledo was once the capital of the kingdom of Spain and is a must-see for all its historic churches, synagogues and mosques, which are a reminder of how Muslims, Jews and Christians lived together in harmony here. You can visit the Mosques of Cristo de la Luz and El Salvador, as well as the Islamic baths of Tenerías and the Bisagra city gate. Don't miss the Alcazar and Toledo Cathedral de Santa Maria. Night in Madrid. Cuenca: Take the high-speed train from Madrid-Puerta de Atocha station to another World Heritage city, Cuenca (one hour away). It is located on the cliffs of the Huécar river gorge and is famous for its Casa Colgadas (Hanging Houses). Don't forget to take a photo from San Pablo Bridge as a souvenir! Make sure you try one of its typical dishes: migas con huevo (traditional sautéed breadcrumbs with pork, served with eggs) or ajo arriero (cod with tomato, garlic and peppers). Night in Madrid.

Day 5 - Return home
On your last day, make sure you visit the Museum of San Isidro, La Almudena Cathedral or Omar Mosque and the Madrid Central Mosque. Take your flight home from Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas airport.
